Welcome to my world! It’s a little crazy around here managing multiple assignments and a routine that changes daily. Most people are afraid of the chaos. Not me. The unpredictability of life keeps me on my toes.

I’m one of those creative professionals who does a wide-range of different projects at once and would be bored working for the IRS. I spend most days combing the internet for news and pop culture trends, writing, and commenting to my social media network about everything I find. I'm a contributing writer to Maria Shriver, ModernMom, and Huffington Post as well as a columnist for Mommytracked penning the column Saving The World One Teen At A Time. I executive produce a kid-to-kid advocacy program called KidsCookUSA and also have a national campaign and website in development, Kids4USA, that will give kids a voice in their future. And, when I have a spare moment or two, I spill my guts out into the chapters of the book I’m writing…the book about the whole midlife reinvention thing for women. You know, how turning 40 is so, um, not what I thought it would be. I want to figure it out, though. I hear 50 is worse.

The key to my writing is that I’m honest…probably more open than most people are comfortable. I often hear my mom’s voice telling me to be careful not to air dirty laundry. Oh well. What I’ve discovered is that by sharing my journey and admitting that it isn’t always pretty around here, I am free from the pretense. I’m not perfect, and I have days that I really wonder what I’m doing. Truth be known, I’ve got piles of dirty laundry. But, hey, don’t we all.
